Edible Child safe sparklers are becoming a fireworks tradition in The Madhouse This will be the fourth year that we have made them and they never fail to delight, both the boys making them and the children eating them.
Ingredients
- Bread sticks
- Chocolate
- Cake Sprinkles
- Hundreds and thousands
We melt the chocolate in a boil over a pan of simmering water and then add some golden syrup to make sure it doesn't set too fast on us.
We then use a silicone brush to cover the bread stick with some chocolate and cover the coated part in decorations. You could dip them,, but this way is less messy!

eave them to set and voila, child safe edible sparklers.
