  1. My money saving tip for toys is to look all year round and buy when offers are on and in the sales never buy near to Christmas.

  2. Buy toys second hand - children play with them for such a short time that they are as good as new when they get bored of them.

  3. Well I have learned the hard way! - I 'was' a shopaholic and i realised that it was me who was more interested in the toys than my daughter! I now always read reviews on the toys before I buy them and I try to use Tesco vouchers where possible and also check on eBay, amazon and google shopping x

  4. I look in the big shops for things I like then I check ebay and gumtree for them nearly new - we have an entire wardrobe of danish designer clothes, joules, hatley etc all for way under a tenner each! stylish and affordable! I also shop at Jack and Jill markets whenever there is one and stock up for birthday pressies!

  5. Always google for the best prices and sales

  6. My tip is to shop around. Find what you want and run a price comparison - you can almost always find it cheaper. If you buy on eBay and amazon you can earn nectar points too - a great way of saving for xmas

  7. I have a shop savvy app on my phone. I can see a toy, scan the barcode and the app tells me where its cheapest both locally and also on online.
