Saving with a purpose

I always find that saving with a goal in mind is really empowering.  We started saving for our own home before we got married and then made the decision to relocate to Berkshire from N Yorkshire and had to save a LOT more for that initial deposit, which is why I think this infogram is great as it gives you an idea of house prices throughout the UK.

    amazing to see what its like price wise in other places I live in the south east so It's a lot more to save for than up north. http://www.joannavictoria.co.uk/

I have hard floors downstairs which I love.  They are much more practical than carpet with 2 mucky boys and a dog. Dumping the tumble dryer and Ecoforce giveaway

We have a tumble dryer, but it broke before christmas and we  couldn't afford to get it repaired, so I have been managing with an old fashioned wooden clothes rail and hanging bedding over the doors to dry, This last would of weeks however, I have been hanging the washing outside and it has been drying much quicker and with less creases, so I am going to take the plunge and instead of getting the dryer replaced I am going to give it away.
